Alone in crowded lonliness Against the wall I stand Rhythemic beating in my chest, A note clutched in my hand A tear escapes my clouded eyes My feet refuse to move As people go on with their lives I waste my afternoon I fumble with the folded note Its contents I must hide The sadness in the words I wrote Told truth beyond the lies Some people are never noticed Against the wall they stand Believing they will not be missed, The choice is in your hands For they are people left behind Burdened by our neglect Within your soul, i hope you find, Outcasts deserve respect |
