You told me something, I'll never forget Something that, somehow erased my regret Somewhere I had screwed up, Somehow I had failed I viewed myself through a hate infused veil For some reason today you decided to talk And somehow you had managed to pick off my lock The one that kept in, the hurt and the tears For some reason you knew what I needed to hear You relieved me from my self-imposed cell You pulled me to heaven when I had settled for hell To me you are soembody -somebody that dared To accept me for me, to show me you cared |
