I don't usually write poems that rhyme so i thought id give it a go .... so here it is
I saw you in town the other day
feelings came flooding I didn't know what to say

you still look like an angle from above
but you were there with your new love

I thought it best if I kept my distance
Instead I'll marvel in your brilliance

I had my chance long ago
but all that i felt you'll never know

you always understood me your smile was light
If we where together things would be alright

it was on my heart you trespassed
even now I can't let that feeling go

I should of asked you out when I had the chance
we could of had an endless romance

but I could never find the courage
and now my heart wont get the message

I thought I had forgotten you
but all I feel a love so true
