Don't try to say your "sorry" for the pain that you have caused. If only I could change the past. A moment just to pause. No empty words, and hateful names. No trying to play your mind games. I'm tired of you and your hateful past. I want to live for this moment. Try to makes life long and last. I know to say "forgive you," would just be another lie. But I have to get rid of this burden before I grow old and die. You tired to be a father and makes the best of things. I tired to break away from you, but you're the one that clinged "Everything was fine." That's what Mom tried to say. But I could hear the sadness in her voice, it gave her away. I figured out the horrid past after years the story told. How could you do such a thing? Your emotions now are dead cold. More years have gone, litte words were said. A soul is slowly dying, now it is dead. Why have things changed? You were one a there. And one day you really tried to care. It hurts to much to feel this pain... And you know your the one to blame.. What more can I do? It's not so easy to love a father like you... (A poem about my abusive father.)
