so even her; the one i trusted with my everything; wanted me to give up; she just lost hope; i guess that means; that my time's up. So now i'm a long way from home, lost by an echo, never have known, I've got pictures to prove I was there, but you don't care, to think you'd be proud of me, there is room to believe, out of sight, out of mind, out of reach, There's a pain that sleeps inside It sleeps with just one eye And awakens the moment that you leave Though I try to look away The pain it still remains Only leaving when you're next to me Do you know, that everytime you're near Everybody else seems far away So can you come and make them disappear Make them disappear and we can stay we can stay here forever; So I stand and look around Distracted by the sounds Of everyone and everything I see And I search through every face Without a single trace, of the person The person that I need You poisoned my life became an addiction So I take this knife And I cut you out Cut you out And now I see it's you That's tearing me apart; This is me dying in your arms, I cut you out now set me free. |
