fist i'm wrong for not trying,
then get shot down when i do.
you seem like you're jealous,
i know that much is true.

one minute you still feel it,
the next it's the cold shoulder,
i wish you'd let me through,
move that metaphoric boulder.

show some blooming emotion,
this is what i just can't stand.
you get to deal the cards again,
giving me the dodgy hand.

no more playing your mind games,
i'm through and i give in,
no more fighting for your love
the battle's over, you win.

Expect nothing, Prepare for anything.
