Todays my birthday, I just thought you should know. 17 years, I been here, I've loved and been loved. I've fought, I've won and lost. I've been a parent to you, When you came home drunk, when you were sick, when you got beaten, I cooked and cleaned, Stayed strong. But for the last four years you haven't been here, You hate your own daughter, how could you after all you put me through. I take care of your son, I fought for you, I cried for you, I've given you chances to be here, but you cant even pick up a phone and say happy birthday. I bet you dont even remeber, your probably drunk or high, and all I ever wanted from you was for you to be sober. Every girl has there mother, but me I have a Colleen. |

Awww..., this made me cry so much. This is exactly like my past. My mom almost always came home drunk and I had to take care of her and my brother. Great write. TJ So cut me into pieces and tape me into something beautiful... |
