Maybe I am a little outspoken
But sometimes it’s to cover a heart that’s been broken
Maybe I am a little controlling
But that’s just to keep a good thing flowing
Maybe I always tend to be right
But it’s because I believe it true with all my might
Maybe my playing around is sometimes gross
But it’s just to see you smile and wrinkle your nose
Maybe my feelings I rarely show
But to be honest you had me at hello
Maybe I talk your ear off about unimportant stuff
But it’s because the time without you is rough
Maybe I don’t cry to show you I care
But that doesn’t mean your absence doesn’t leave me in despair
Maybe I was blind at so many special things
But believe me a warm smile it always brings
Maybe just maybe this time I might be wrong
But who cares because now I know together we belong!
