Today I read this quote on the wall “To love is better than to never have loved at all” So I wondered shall we just love and not care that eventually we will fall. Or shall we live life alone contently Shall we risk love and maybe a future penalty? Or shall we chant “to love is better than to never have loved at all” To justify and tune out our aching heart’s call Shall we love so much to loose ourselves completely Or should we just smirk at those who pass by so in love so sweetly Should we follow a quote so misleading Or give thought to the stuff you are reading? But without love who will hold your hand when you’re old Maybe alone is nice but it’s sometimes cold Why miss the feeling of flying through the sky without wings And find true beauty in all things No book or stuffed animal will give you a smile Love is great even if it’s just for a little while “To love is better than to never have loved at all” |

“To love is better than to never have loved at all” I've heard this many times, but I've never had the courage to act on it (and probably won't for a while). I loved how you took what was in my opinion, a well-known cliche, and molded it into your own words. Bravo! Dawn gives birth to a new day. |
