Summer Seclusion The date on my desk says it's spring. I smack it down and dream that it's summer. My mom yells: "Wake up! Time to spring!" I rub my eyes and yawn: "bummer" I ran through the day (it was a nice day for running). I hummed on the way (it was nice enough for humming). Eat. Work. Breathe (My daily routine). Eat out. Work out. Breathe out. (Don't I need to breathe in?) Whoops, time to breathe out. The date on my desk says it's spring. I wave her off and dream that it's summer. A ramble never hurt anyone. We are each of us angels with only one wing. And we can only fly by embracing each other. -Luciano De Creshenzo An assassin-in-training shouldn't. Actually, I'm more of a spring person myself. But I like the summer a lot too (no school). And you're right, I'm glad it's finally spring and not winter. Yay! We are each of us angels with only one wing. And we can only fly by embracing each other. |
