i want you back as a friend
and im sorry i let you down
yesterday i cried for a lot of things
and God let me kneel down
i cried to Him and said
im sorry for being wrong
im sorry im such a foolish child
as i heard them play a song
i felt it burn me like
the bush in flames
i believe im changing
im starting to run the right way
but this poem is for you
and i just wanted to let you know
im back as a true christian
running towards my true home
i know you been through alot of things
and so have i
my spirit was burning
and i truly wanted to die
but i know that im saved
Jesus bled for me
on a special day
but knowing He bled for you to(meaning everyone in the world)
i pray for you guys
as i play my song
but to the one im speaking to
i want you back as a friend
not that kind of relationship
but as another christian friend

Just me musing out in the open. But musings aside...Nice poem. Although you could have done without some of the repetitive parts, but then again, that's just my opinion.

well this poem was supposed to be about a person but i started thinking about other things my mind was just thinking for itself so yeah true christian meaning im just gonna follow God but yeah sorry this poem kind of sucked so yeah
