I Won't Take You Back

You said you’d never leave me
Yet now I’m all alone
You don’t know how much that hurt
Now I cry every night in the dark

You said that you would be there
In my times of need
But that’s when you got scared
And totally abandoned me

Now you’re saying that you were wrong
And that you made a mistake
But how can I believe you
I can’t let my heart break

Again and again I take you back
Happily, I forgive
But if you keep hurting me
I will no longer want to live

I’m sorry; I still love you
But I can’t hurt another time
Maybe one day our paths will cross
And love won’t be so blind

I really like this poem , thanks for commenting on my poem aswell , im proud of you for not taking that person back , i got cheated on and took the person back , i know how hard it is to say no when that person you love hurts you and then says that it was a mistake and bla bla bla , i also hope this poem is really about you cause if not il sound pretty stupid eh lol
