This is for all the stereo types out there that hate for being ourselves as me and alot of other skaters or poetry writers go through.....Great for me I'm both ---------------------------------------------------- Do you hate me for the clothes I wear? Do you hate me for My genre of music? Do you hate me for living my passion? Do you hate me for writing my poems? I did nothing to you We try to be the best at what we do Just to be ridiculed in dispair Whats wrong with being ourselves? Are you going to hit me for being myself? Ridicule me for trying to have fun You spend one day in my shoes and see how hard it is To be ridiculed and made fun of everyday It takes so much to be good at what we do I skate,I write poetry,are you going to hit me for that? I listen to screamo, are you going to hit me for that? I'm nothing like you,I'm different Just live my life and see what it's like Then think next time before you hate someone for being themselves --Keagan............ |

hmmm, very true. I know how u feel. 'cept i really can't skateboard! haha the last time i tried...well it was scary. But i know what ur talking about here, and yeah it sucks but....well it just does and there's not alot u can do about it. If people are making fun of you it's prbably 'caue you're doing something right (favorite quote). So yeah, just keep living and screw what everyone says. Great poem (you didn't rhyme!!!) yeah im gunna have to agree with emily on this. it didnt rhyme and flow wasn't your best. not all poems have to rhyme but the do need a nice flow... it just a little advise... Cheer up!! what people think doesnt matter. As long as you like yourself and what you do, then dont worry. if people make fun of you there just insecure with themselfs. And try not to let people bring you down. And if your friends that do that then... Are they really your friends?? just think about that... Have a great day!! Zach  |
