Almost Sensible It is with growing agitation And a crude sour taste on my tongue That I write for lack of better things Of no interest that come I’m kinda sickly pale With the sheen of once shed sweat The residue of illness That lets me not forget That while pain is usually descriptive For the outward tangible race It is in the depths of emotions Where it puts its name in distaste It’s a look into my future That refutes the life gone past But I find time so worrying It’s caught into low drafts The sickness that haunted My body through and through Is going out so quickly That I’m gaining back my hue It must be the reason That through the times of day I’m gaining back my reason In this poem to display and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night |
