sitting in this tree
outside in the cold
the entire world just stops
and im left here all alone

encased in memories
from a long time ago

these summers pass
every years getting shorter
it seems every days a year
and every ones more than just a number

with every one
that will ever pass
i always know
the next is better than the last

but what will happen
when i start growing old
when my memory fades
will i still be here in the cold

what is to be
whats to become of me
what will i do
what will i see

will i screw up
and let everyone down
or will i make it
and take this crown

december rain is falling
and im outside in the storm
lost inside my memories
where its always warm

i'll never worry
and ill never look back
i'll have no regrets
when the world goes black

Wow, I was born in December- so anything including December has always interested me. Especailly December rains. At one point I lived in a place where it never snowed, it just rained in the winter- this brought back some good memories for me- thanks, I needed that today.

Personally I don't really care for the rain. But that's besides the point. This was beautifully written and it gave me a warm feeling. (That doesn't happen often)

I like the way it made me feel. It reminded me of going to my Grandparents house for christmas. There too it never snowed, just rained in winter. I feel fuzzy yet peacefull inside. Thank you for that.

You've outdone yourself Mr. Orange. I am putting this in my library, sending this as an ecard to myself and quite possibly printing it off and framing it!

This is some of the best poetry I've ever seen and beyond that it exepresses somthing of myself!
