The Mountain's Song

Battle-scarred and battle-torn,
cut down by my rival's scorn.
I join in the mountain's song,
sheltered in shadow, dark and long.

My moonlit metal, my faithful friend,
always ready, from start to end.
My singing steel joins the song,
an assassin's blade, dark and long.

Beyond the forests, beyond the seas,
beyond the reach of a summer breeze,
waits the rival, armed and ready,
to fight the song, strong and steady.

My midnight steel, longs to embrace,
the rival adorned with bitter disgrace.
My faithful friend, armed and ready,
to fight for the song, strong and steady.

We are each of us angels with only one wing. And we can only fly by embracing each other.
-Luciano De Creshenzo

An assassin-in-training shouldn't.
