Rambling Fills Our Days As I reach inside my soul Locating the garden of words that I harbor I find that I’m pulling out colors And I’m left with brute black and stark white Its incredible how that for moments I can feel that there’s nothing I feel Like I’m a detached type of being With no strings attached to my former self Then a whispering feeling comes upon me Echoing inside of my soul and my head Flowing through all of my creviced cracked heart Giving me a sense of the non-feeling Like the softest murmur of breath Touching upon my bare cold arms And the memory of your touch on my hand Gives me shivers I barely control Am I’m letting my mind wander further Farther than ever before I’m leaving the idea of myself in the dust And I’m seeing through the eyes of another and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night |

"Locating the garden of words that I harbor" "I’m left with brute black and stark white" These two lines were my favorite. A garden full of words...What a delight! I also loved the contrast between these two verses. I would tip my hat to you, but I never wear hats. Haha. We are each of us angels with only one wing. And we can only fly by embracing each other. |
