I hesitate to write what I need to say,
Afraid writing might make it more true,
But to deny them would be ignorance at best,
And I can’t afford to be ignorant with you.

You ask to have the best of me,
Then throw it back in my face,
But at the end of the day you know it’s true;
You just can’t stay away.

Maybe it’s the mischievous look in my eyes,
Or the smile that plays on my lips,
All the things that I pose just for you,
Right down to my fingertips.

Or maybe it’s the way I laugh at you,
The way I always know just what to say,
When it comes down to it, you know it’s true;
You can’t stay away.

You’re a living contradiction,
Full of promises that never come,
Full of words that never add up,
Yet you expect me to succumb.

Now it’s time for me to look back,
And realize I’m worth the fight,
I’m worth everything you never gave,
Worth every word you will never write.

It hurts that I have to beg you to see,
Your actions show what words won’t say,
You don’t want me, but you know it’s true;
You can’t stay away.

OMG this was so amazing!!!! I totally loved this! Wouldn't change a thing. Rhyme, rythym,everything was perfect. Great Job!

heyyyyyyyy i havent seen u l8ly! n e ways omg i wanted to put down my favorite verse but to do that id have to copy over the entire poem!!!! i loved the whole entire thing! and its obviously going in my library like all ur other stuff! great job
