Just one question I wish to ask you Only simple words I yearn to say This may change both our lives Yet, I'm willing to take a chance. I know we have been friend's so long. From the depths of my soul, I need to speak out what i feel inside. These words can bring happiness or can cause me tremendous pain You must wonder why I hesitate to ask Please realize that this decision affects both of us and can be the end to all we once knew, and all we once had. Listen closely to what I shall say. Don't act so surprised, just hear me speak. I have been your friend way too long. My heart yearns for something more than just watching life go on as it is.
