has it really happened like this the way life has played out i got so much on my mind that im confused about and ive been wondering is love really a feeling or just something we dream of so we start pretending from a girl to a woemn from a boy to a man so much is expected and we do what we can but in the end dont we all fail and maybe thats why i dont try i only pretend to care so lets forget about all the hate and pain just for a moment you can try but you cant the dead mans the one come closest but that man holds secrets things he should have told but he was scared and he waited and now they're burried forever and at some point we all feel regret and no matter how hard we try we will never forget and it seems when we try to remember our memories fail to please but as soon as you speak they want you as a patient doing anything to twist your words so they can call you crazy and theres no hope for those who dare to think different you've lost your social status you're just seen as a mental illness but where did things turn i though society was my enemy but it seems like my own mind's the one playing tricks on me and im left to question the reality od existence the mentality of the world feels like its run off micro chips but screw technology i'd rather be a dream and then i'd only have to question the mentality of whoever dreamed of me theres too much coinsidence in a world looking for meaning those who are paranoid try to believe in fate but inside i hear them screaming but maybe paranoia is really jsut a sixth sense and while everyones looking back at them they're really one step ahead and who do you trust in a world thats so decieving no matter what is said there's always a hidden meaning and how do we stay safe in a world full of anger never knowing whats behind the blank stare of a stranger has it really happened like this? {in a million years i wont be over you} |

"but screw technology i'd rather be a dream and then i'd only have to question the mentality of whoever dreamed of me" Wow...You took the words right out of my mouth. Truly a thought-invoking piece! Lots of questions that beg to be answered. Maybe a little too much to handle at first. I repeat: Wow. |

alright, this peices was truly a masterpiece beyond compare. these were my favorite lines- you had so many! "and at some point we all feel regret and no matter how hard we try" "i'd rather be a dream and then i'd only have to question the mentality of whoever dreamed of me" "but maybe paranoia is really jsut a sixth sense and while everyones looking back at them they're really one step ahead" beautiful work. i'm putting this in my library and keeping it forever. i truely loved it and hope to get a signed poem one day from your hand. -Kate
