I met Miss Jane the other day. I sat with her She had lots to say. In her room all alone. She lives by herself in a nursing home Her body is weak but her soul is strong. How long will she be here? Probably not too long. She speaks alot about her life She was a mother and a wife. Her husband is gone her children are there But if you watch do they really care? They always ask her what will I get? When we finaly put you to rest. When I think of little miss Jane In my heart I can feel her pain Her disapointment shows in her eyes It will be there till the day she dies ~If we didn't have any bad days, we wouldn't appreciate the good ones~ |

Oh, wow. What a poem. It was very emotional to me personally because my grandmother is in a nursing-home-type-place and it reminded me of her. ~Alli~ |
