I never thought I would feel this way,
But now it seems I have to say,

I will miss you with every thought,

With every dream I will feel pain,
I can't stand it, I am going insane.
At first I didn’t know what we could be,
But now I can finally see,

I will miss you with every thought,

Because we could have been more,
We could have been something I haven’t had before.
You say it is not because of me,
But who else could it be?

I will miss you with every thought,

Now you say you want to be just friends,
But I know I can not make that amends
I wish I had of let you know,
How I truly cared for you so,

I will miss you with every thought,

We never even had time to say 'I love you'
There was so much that we did not do.
Now you are gone and I will never forget,
How I took you for granted, I will always regret.

I will miss you with very thought,

I will feel hurt with every muscle,
I will find sadness in every detail,

I will miss you with every thought!

I know this one is as well, not one of my best, but I have been in kind of a slump lately, and I had to write this one because my girlfriend just broke up with me...so let me know what you think.

I loved this part of the poem. It's as if realization has finally dawned on you.
This is a sad one to read and I think that the emotions come across well in the wording/way it’s written.

Sorry to hear that you and your girlfriend breakup, I hope your doing okay with it.

Thanks for the replies...I wasn't really sure what everyone would think of this because it is kind of not my normal style.
