Second Chances Never Matter

What happened to second chances?
Your question has caught me again
I don’t believe in being a fool
That has where my life has been

I believe in a second chance
But not a foot print in my back
It’s your own fault- it’s entirely you
Putting your heart up for a whack

This time I won’t say I’m sorry
Your chances are all gone now
It was so blatantly simple
But you cowered like a cow

My heart is far broken

My eye’s tears are crying out
Where is the ending?

So what happened to second chances?
You threw them out behind you
Choosing two word answers
Where a hundred words you knew

I'm back!! I really like this one, although, i do have to state my opinion. I believe that second chances do matter for some people really do change. Anyways, i'm glad i read this
