The drums pound,
the winds dance,
Around and Around.

The drums beat,
the winds shriek,
Around and Around.

The beat falters,
The dance stops,
the dancers gather 'round.

I feel the rhythm,
But hear the beat,
Two very differnt sounds.

I try to gather,
my shaking steps,
But I fall.

Now I must choose:
Do I bend to the beat of life,
or dance to my heart's rhythm?

As assassin shouldn't fall in love.
