Secrets unfold I turn my head to see the truth as it was written. Stories untold World forgotten, remember life when it was undiminoshed. Lies run cold Humanity suffers injustice as repen- tance for its sins. Sanity grows old Can you not see your mind leaving you to fend for yourself Men are bold They stand to fight at arms as brothers who rush to their deaths. Life I hold So seemlessly flut- tering away are the lives falling before me In the end I realize that this world is not a place for men. Its didnt accept us by choice, only chance. it cries out for us all to end the violence, But its voice goes inheard in the daunting silence. |

Nice poem Andrew, very thought-invoking. I understood your first stanza: Secrets unfold I turn my head to see the truth as it was written. It's like your seeing the world as it was meant to be, peaceful, green, and whole. As assassin shouldn't fall in love. |
