i miss the memories of those wonderful days
how you made every moment like heaven in so many ways
i miss you softly touching me with your fingertips
an how you brushed my cheek with your soft lips

i miss how seeing your face made every day bright
how if you jus smiled everything in the world was alright
i miss the wind blowing your hair into your gorgeous eyes
an how you said the dark of night could be our disguise

i miss being able to sprint across a hall an jump into your arms
how when you wrapped yourself around me i was safe from all harm
i miss looking through the window an seeing you wave goodbye
an how you promised me the world, an you'd love me for life

i miss watching the clock, counting down hours till i'd see you
how if i was crying, your voice would take away everything blue
i miss when the doorbell would interrupt my studies
cause there was a delivery man bringing me daisies & roses

i miss your laugh, an how your face would crinkle up with dimples
how i could tell you anything, you understood it all in general
i miss each little thing about you, everything familiar
an how with each passing day, missing you becomes stronger

i miss you calling me at midnight, i miss knowing you cared
how i could look over at you an grin, how you always stared
i miss having you to hold, i miss you keeping me warm
how if i ever needed something, you could calm my storm

i don't understand what happened, or where the hell i went wrong
you'd think by seeing all these words, our love woulda remained strong
i don't know why i acted so stupid, or how you could think i don't care
an there's so much more baby, but i sure miss having you there

so tell me this, while im sitting here missing you through an through
you don't give a care, but how am i supposed to go on living without you?
