I sit alone staring at the clock on the wall asking myself if it's too late to call another shot of Jack I know this ain't right but it's the only thing that helps me sleep at night memories of you dance around in my head times of laying with you all day in bed almost all gone I tip the last of it up then sit staring at the empty cup I look around for anything to make me forget but it seems the more I drink the less drunk I get So I drink you away with Whiskey and beer Hoping no body will see me here it would only hurt them to see me this way trying to drink all my pain away they tell me it's wrong and I agree I really don't like whats happening to me I look in the mirror it's the worst sight i've seen every one knows it's the worst that i've been I know the more I have the more it kills and finally i'm done with drinking for thrills I know I have to change and get yout outta my mind as much as I don't want to I need to leave you behind So I pour the last of the bottle down the drain and I take one step closer to dealing with my pain. |

wow this is really great. but u shouldnt turn to drinking to feel numb. hopefully it was just what you were writing about. its okay itll pass and ull make it thru.  |

Kate- Thank you so much, I'll be strong if I can't do it for myself I'll do it for everyone else Leah- thank you for your kind reply, I know I shouldn't turn to drinking... but I am definately getting better at dealing with my pain in other ways. ~Krysti |
