where my heart is

back and forth
the pendulum swings
taking each second each minute
we need

tick and tock
the wheels always turn
stealing time that we know we
can't earn

one turns twelve
we're wasting away
passing by are chances that can't
always wait

love hate trust
live for what you get
we can't afford to waste our lives
on this

life is a gift
to have or to waste
use what he gave to you to get to
his place

mile after mile
each engine pushes on
highway to heaven with a book
from god

I really liked this...the rhyming was a bit off, but i enjoyed reading it anyways. The flow was really nicely done

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.
