Sorry I haven't been around lately. Vacation called. Here is my latest.

The Painting with Hazel Eyes

The artist hard at work
Continuing for hours on end
Days spend, no food nor drink
And a master piece in the making

More than a personality
Nearly alive in its being
A breath of beauty and soul of lead
Unable to speak literally

A face, now the hazel eyes
A story she will tell
With her eyes she will speak
To the girl who knows her well

Unbeknownst to her
The painting is not just a painting
It is the portrait of a soul
A soul that she had captured in words

She speaks in my head
In my spirit the words resonate
I wrote of her before
Told her story without knowing

The feeling true as sight
A miracle divine

YAY!!!!!!!!! finally you are back I was wondering where you went. Well really missed you. Great poem. It's good to have you here again.

awww thanks, but i'm going to be gone this next week again starting today. so i'm sorry but i'm gonna go have some camping fun. love you all

oh, and there is a real painting i was talking about, i will try to find it i saw it in the nauvoo visitor center art gallery. i can't seem to find it yet, but i'm looking.
