please don't say it,
i already know.
i've let you down one to many times,
and now you want me to go.

i dont blame you for the way you feel.
if it were me id feel the same.
but just know i did my best,
maybe knowing that will take away some blame.

im not here to say im sorry,
because i dont think im wrong.
we have been fighting the inevitable,
and we have been fighting a little too long.

and now the ties are breaking,
like my broken life.
i hope you know i tried so hard,
i tried with all my might.

the sands are falling faster
in my hourglass of life
im running out of time
trying to make things right,
so keep me close to heart,
as you read my last lines,
just know that i was trying,
but i just ran out of time.

Another masterpiece!!  Excellent flow and wording, good job.

I've stopped fighting my inner demons... we're on the same side now.

Amazing, The Orange Strikes Again.. Ur such an inspiring poet...

"So long little angel I'll see you soon"
"We tried really hard to fight this doom"
"Hold tight the memories we made in love"
"Remember the promise of the turtle dove"

"Sing sweet the birds above in the sky"
"For my love for you shall never die"

Luv N Hugs,
