You have been anticipating this
all through out the long and tiring day.
The warm water pouring over you,
pleasure in standing under the spray.

You fiddle constantly with the taps.
Too hot! Oh damn, did that ever burn.
Quickly adding more cold water, while
you wish for a tap that just says warm.

As you hear that too familiar sound
you wonder who you're gonna throttle
because all you are getting is air
coming out of the shampoo bottle.

You step back as the water rushes
so you don't get water in your eyes
but there's something slippery on the floor
and you land on your rear with a surprise.

Finally it all seems to be right
as you slowly drift off in a dream,
only to be woken with a shock.
You yell, ‘turn off the washing machine!'

Stand straight and tall, not the reflection as others see you, but as you truely are.        Clearwater

I used to wait until my husband got into the shower, and then I'd flush the toilet, then go run the tap, it was fun!

Cute Dee, really cute!
