I took parts of different poems I wrote about people I have taken care of, and put into this one to dedicate it to the lady I am now sitting with, just to let her know "I CARE"! As Long As I Am HereBecause my heart is in it, too The compassion I feel inside me I freely give it all to you Whatever the task may be each day I do my best and do it all out of love You have touched this heart of mine And, it seems I can never do enough It warms my heart to see your smile Oh how I wish I could rid you of your pain If only I could I wouldn't even hesitate To make you all well, once again My dear sweet lady as long as I am here I will give my love and comfort you And, to show you how much I truly care In everything I try to do 2-4-09 © copyright by Sue Graves |
