Celebrated Evermores

I prayed a muse not far away
should rise on wings of golden rays
and spark a thought, a moment’s praise
for life you have there after
in joy, in song, in laughter
renewed like youth on sunny shores
while vibrant dance, rejoice, restore
brings celebrated evermores
in knowing you arrived …

… to us who are alive.
