around the world
hearts are in mourning

mine included.
I can’t read your poetry
not right now

and I can’t bring myself
to look at the moon

my spirit is diminished today
missing yours

I don’t have prayers left in me
but I do hope, I try to believe

that the god of your knowing
let’s you know

you are loved.

~SEA~

I know just how you feel, Sea. I feel the same way. Yes, Marge was indeed loved. And, missed so much.

I know exactly what you mean. This is well-constructed, well-worded and reinforces the fact: I'm going to miss her.

The love in your words for our beloved Marge, is almost palpable. I am feeling the same way. It is all so surreal. I am having a difficult time coming to terms with the fact that she has gone, but as we all know, her spirit, her poetry, her photography, her love and warmth still grace our Family of Friends.

SEA, this was exceptionally moving and beautifully written.

Love & Margie Moon Light,
Linda

Susan...Our dear Marge will foreverly be missed. I spent the afternoon reading some of her tender replies to some of my old poems, just trying to hold onto her words and thoughts for a little while longer...Paul

Take comfort.

This is very kind and warm Sea and I know Marge knows we all loved her dearly.

I believe I joined here in 2001 and Marge played a huge part in my welcome and encouragement through all the years.

Thank you for this SEA!

Susan, I thought there was something wrong with me for feeling like this (except that I have lots of inner prayers left in me for Marge and many others).  Marge's passing took my spoken and written words away.  I couldn't respond to poems about her, to begin with.  Thank you for showing me with your beautiful poignant poem, and the responses it evoked, that I am not alone in feeling like this.

You don't have prayers left in you?

I disagree.

I am ..........without words!! I did not know.......I am so sad. Your poem is cutting deep into my heart, I wish I could say " Hello Marge" again.......
She would have loved your work..of that I am sure

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Oh yes, Sea! I miss Marge every single day. She was a big part of my life. I feel such an emptiness, now. And, I sure do miss those gosh darn huglets.

I remember Marge from back in the day when I used to be on here, we used to talk and email each other and she was one cool person, and this saddened me immensely when I heard about this.

You tribute her well.
