A Dancing Marionette Sweeping me off my feet To a dance of seduction Allured and enticed By a loving introduction On those magical nights As I danced to the tune Easily I surrendered Gazing stars and moon Captured in those hands Ever flexible and pliable A puppet on strings With every move reliable Charmed and captivated In being to blind to see A dancing marionette Was what you made me Hope ©2009 |

I enjoyed your poem very much. Love makes dancing marionettes of us all. On the seashore I espy the dreadful void under the tides |

HopeS - This was crafted with the deft hand of a poet. Amazing how the strings of Love control are thinking, our heartbeats and our movements. We'd love to cut them sometimes but we fear losing them forever and thus resign ourselves to the fate of a dancing marionette. This was a gem and I loved it HopeS. Namyh |
