The beautiful world is always there I want to make her aware of the eyes that keep her The wonderful feeling she gives me I wonder if she knows I’m in love The way she came so close And left in two seconds flat Now I have no company waiting there She never knew of the house I would build her The days I have nothing to do The days I have nothing to do I would wait here till I turn to dust But that would be to long my friend One place you can count on is an amazing dream But I won’t be there to see my dream Chevrolet keeps my quiet while I wait so bored Let me cross the middle of this highway One last chance to run everyone away So I can be the only one Let me have this one last chance I need your romance Let this play as you’re lonely Baby I’m scared I won’t see you anymore Let me see you one last time I know you want a new fire This one has the coals to keep it going Throw your last log on and keep it going strong I have hope |
