the palms there, part time, a rented heaven like children fingers opening the sky peek-a-boo curtain to watch adultery as if it were child’s play but easier then the blushing face of dawn rising from the sigh sound music too loud for her to sleep her hangover through and you know how she is when she wakes with wanting running down her complexion calling it a sunrise or something stronger that made her restless for darkness the kind she can never get enough of so she watches you smile and shakes her head then looks into my eyes and whispers how she was there before you and after and we were usually alone together when she touched my metal places with her warm ________________ daark (owgish, more highways) |
