Having spent two years in second grade, Bones was searching for some way to guarantee his little educational misunderstanding didn’t perpetuate itself in the next century. An opportunity presented itself at the end of the long school year; when Bones and other small inmates of our prosaic blue collar prison gathered in the classroom, for our annual show and tell. Having friends in high places at the slaughterhouse Bones obtained two lovely, soft brown, bovine eyes, stems and all, kindly donated to aid his desperate cause. Carrying them to the front, Bones opened his little box, aiming their sad gory stare at the pedagogic presence. When the teacher emitted a loud shrike, Bones knew that third grade would be his. that is gross, and so funny all at the same time...that's what they did when we were kids, passed you through, no matter what... sad really... but that is pretty awesome what Bones did ![]() |

Thanks dear SEA, Grade school for me was a horror. It took me forever to get out of there. I flunked both second and forth grade. The teachers just liked having me around, and were reluctant to let me go. I didn't like school at all until I found out I could get something out of it. There was money in it for me. Love Bobby |

I laughed at the first stanza, and I read on and laughed at Bones's sav vy. |
