ArtistHoward David Johnson

The day wanes my love as I await,
Only the form of your body calms
My desire. Wistful eyes, longing, gaze
Unseeing. Listless yearning heart psalms
Passion’s past. Come my bliss.

Without your soul by mine I faint
Helpless for your solace embrace.
Unmoved since your last kiss, my lips
Pulse a soundless whisper. Race
To me! Else my spirit disappear!

Darling, no taste upon my tongue
Or scent of sweet perfume weakens
My being as the lightest touch of you.
Ecstasy is the rhythm that begins
In my lovers bosom when you smile

That must be some spectacular smile.

Yo dear Bloodline,

This is a lovely poem/picture combination.  It's great to see someone go classical.

Marcia MT, a breathless Bravo?

Wado, thank you and I'm blushing,
the picture just "spoke" to me,
smiles,

Your passion flows well, Sunflower of the Cherokee welcomes you to PIP....

May your spirit soar upon the mighty winds,
touching the hearts of others with words..

Yes, there are those smiles that have it all in them!
This has a very nice rhythm and conveys deep emotions.
