back to the gypsy sigh of highways again
they are the only women I have really known
though some were too fast around the curves
to ever taste the moments of our salvation

and others were slow motion notion bends
but the u-turns were always lovely
on those some morning after yesterdays
when I still wore their perfume as a memory

I never slowed for the crossroad cautions
that blinked a warning to hurry shoe blind men
as if they could hear the flashing of light
when it whispers from behind a face down lover

their gravel was delicious in my wounds
and the moans of their shoulders seductive
when strummed by something sinful without rules
their music is always sweeter than their seams

and the salt of their brims bares their healing

Smiling at you. You love challenges.
This is a superb write, daark.

Sick write...

I'll never understand how you create such elegant styling.

You weave a cohisive randomness
that sings poetry like precious

I suspect that you could get a biker club to not only listen as you gave poetry readings, but thump their chests in appreciation.

That thought amuses me, but I truly can see how it could happen--with you.

You are elegant, as it's been said, but you write it real.

... and along with the perfume there was the black dust clinging to your cheeks and that's when you took that picture of yours!

It's fun to see you in this role as a god of the highways. A god gifted with an uncommon talent for words that ride emotions like Paganini's bow on his violin.

Love,
Margherita

Your understanding of women is only surpassed by your feel for a bike on the road. Ride on, Dark One.
