You stand so gracefully near the checkout. I see you you see me, and we share a very real smile. We make small talk. I try to prick your interest with pointless things. You widen your eyes and ask me questions. such vivid laughter and witty comebacks. sparks in your eyes ignite the kerosene. _______________________________________ Not the best I've ever written, but it's as real as they get. -P Everyone deserves to be loved, even you. "We make small talk. I try to prick your interest with pointless things." Loved this verse also. Pointless things sometimes pack the most punch in a conversatioin, if you ask me. Then again, I am the queen of pointless. Enjoyed. |
