And so Sally simply lapped the remaining tea from his cup. The discerning dog deciding who is master and who is not. Curling and quivering her lips in the blissful sleep that followed walk she hadnt appetite or means to discuss with whom she talked. And so it was we slipped into our blissful Sunday sleep of milky tea with sugar and secrets that will keep. |

I really like this - my male dog, Stuart, sits beside me and waits for me to finish my latte so he can have the cup. I get them from a mocha stand in paper cups .. he's in heaven when he gets the cup from me. Alison |

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this exquisite poem, Spuddette - along with every animal that ever walked, hopped, slithered, flew the planet. Please hug Sally and tell her that Auntie Di from South Africa loves her too. Alison please do the same for Stuart. Owl |

Thanks all. Thanks Aunty Di. Sally now hugged as requested. I also wrote "Old News" posted further down which was inspired by Sally too, as she likes to climb onto the couch on top of all the papers, usually onto what I am reading at that very moment. hehe. |
