The load of my lies Trying to comfort my mind so heavy they sicken my soul I cant breath My soul asking my heart why it draws on all the air My soul cant breath It is screaming but it wont be heard It doesnt have enough air to hold the loudness of the desperate scream 2 seconds and its quiet again remaining bleeding enslaved by my self-forgetting heart and my foolish mind Trying to clean by walking through the dirt stopping falling My heart wondering who's gonna love me with all that dirt to see the needs of my soul and has enough power to wash away the dirt to give my soul freedom to breath Quickly convinced by the only way my minds seems to find to comfort itself a lie a little one nurrishing itself on my pain growing bigger federalizing itself with all my other lies building a strong army constructing walls too high to climb too high to even think of negotiating Lonely behind a wall of shatter-resistant glass crying lonely tears wishing somebody would come to break the wall embrace me and clean my soul from my heart and mind but all they see is the ugliness of the dirt surrounding me let my soul breath I beg you please I am not all this dirt Can't you see what's inside of me ? |

They say actions speak louder than words, but how true can that possibly be when words are how we communicate what we feel when actions aren't enough? I know how you feel, not being seen for who you are, but for the mistakes you've made..as if the whole damn world hasn't made them. Wonderful write, and welcome to PIP. |
