Lay me down and swallow Ashen lips, they're breathless, Beg me stay, don't follow Chilling shades of coldness. Hold me close, as lovers, Cleave to me and whisper 'I am yours, no other's', Though my skin be blistered Lachrymose your eyes be, Lights in mine are fading, Tears will fall upon me, Love is suffocating. None who pity see my weeping lover hold this Ruined flesh that is I, Pressing a goodbye kiss. When I see your face all the angels are shamed. |

"Cleave to me and whisper 'I am yours, no other's'," ~ Ye deserveth nothing less than a lady's devout and complete loyalty, Sir Luke. A passionate pen such as that of thou, must surely stir the heart of any maiden. ![]() EA |
