  Spring Evening Rain

There is more truth,
beauty, and wisdom...
in a spring evening rain
than all the pithy poems
and weighty tomes
  of man.

Reads like a Thoreau thought.

That's the truth expressed so succinctly in open expression. Grasping the reader's desire to fill in the blanks bringing images into personal relation.

Love it!

...and then there is a fine poem such as this, that is about a spring evening rain ~ and it isn't "pithy" at all!

You got my vote ... I love sitting out in a gazebo in a heavy rain or thunderstorm ... words simply can't describe
