I am torn open, Laid bare before my soul Rent and reeling Pain devouring me whole Agony coiled tight Wound up inside my heart I feel I can’t hold on This pain is tearing me apart Blood spills out upon cold stones My wounds are open and raw Pain is searing into me Where once I held such awe I’m stumbling through this darkness, Desperate to find my way out I’m clawing at these chains that bind me, This all encompassing doubt I’m drowning in these tears of hate This scourge upon my soul I’m lost inside my tortured mind As I finally lose control... |

I can't help but wonder at what is causing a person such pain and anguish? It's so disturbing. Hope you can write happy as well as you do sad. I would love to read it. Tracey. |

A raw and real write! The pain is palpable! I would prefer to think that this is all just a horrible nightmare! But if this poem is a reflection of your reality, then I am sending a warm healing hug your way! ~ and prayers will be on the wing, if need be!  EA |

Thank you all kindly. This pain, unfortunately is very real and I was in the midst of a very scary and painful meltdown when I wrote that. Thanks to Luke, i am getting help. Thanks to you all for taking the time to read.  |
