My dearest, I give, (vulnerable one, I take) you my love's gift, (your love i will forsake) all of my days, (no time i shall give) as long as i live (as long as you live) You are my song. (wretched voice of yours) Precious and true. (speak only when spoken too) my hearts desire (others, better than you) my dreams for you. (I make their dreams come true) My greatest endeavor, (I don't care to try) my promised one, (promises run dry) Is to love you forever, (I have loved you never) like no one has done. (it's done forever) |

Oh my. That one speaks to me. The perfect opposite--and so often that's what's really there. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Thanks. I'm wondering what it would be like in reverse? I guess this one could go both ways. |

I guess there's two sides to every story. Ida |
