Dear Sue, your heart expresses this deep yearning for what once was so intensely. It's indeed in the "dark of night" that the lack of loving arms is felt like this. Beautiful in its sadness. May love again enter your life! Love and hugs. Margherita ![]() |

Oh, Sue, my dear friend, I feel like wrapping my arms around you and comforting you. You've come a long way, but true love never truly dies. Emotions that strong, never completely leave us. This was a sweetly expressed, emotive piece of writing. Love you! Linda ![]() |

there is a sad beauty to this...it truly is a heart-hurter...makes one feel deeply...in that respect, you've penned a gem...through the pain...its beauty shines through...well done |

Very heartfelt poem, sometimes people can be judgemental about us and they can be so wrong. Lost love always causes great pain and wounds heal slowly but the do heal. "Hardwork pays in the long run" |

Sue, I like this picture a lot - but, even more, I like your poem. What does happen to love like that? Maybe it is training for a greater love down the road. Maybe it the basis for the person we become. Whatever it is - you are sure a sign of how a person grows and bestows kindness upon many. You have on me that's for sure. So, grow in love - it shines from you in that picture. Love to you, Alison |

nakdthoughts, thank you for reading and replying. I wonder about this quite often. vandana, thank you for reading and replying to my heartfelt poem. Marchmadness, thank you so much for reading and for the kind comment. Klassy Lassy, thank you for reading and replying. A bruised heart seems to last forever. Earth Angel, my sweet friend. You sure know how to lift a persons spirits. Rex, thank you for reading, and for the nice reply. latearrival, I try really hard not to keep looking back. But, it seems like sometimes those memories come back, and just won't leave. If only I could feel as young, as I look, I'd be in good shape. Alison, my friend, thank you for your very kind comment. It touches this heart of mine to know that I have touched anyone in anyway. And, is very encouraging to me. I admire you alot. |
