Changing faces (1980's)by Rick Delmonico Are governments auctioning freedom? It's getting hard to play the game. They're holding all the aces and they tell us we should not complain. Self defiled indulgence soon removes them from the manys needs. They've spent on war a whole lot more than on the poor, greed sways their deeds. The world is in a suicidal stalemate. Ecologist say nature's pi$$ed, it's too late. Big business has the upper hand. The government's at their command. Don't insist that I'm a pessimist but it wont be long till we're all gone. So often I see the many faces of a world so unfree. And I'm so burnt out on all this man-made scenery. What ever happened to Mother Nature my friend? Looks like she saw here untimely end. And it makes me so sad cause I don't think she'll make it back again. You are gambling with something that you can't replace. Technology is bound to lead you anyplace. Like the blind leading the blind through a field of land mines. And when we go we'll probably vanish without a trace. Sometimes I have no respect for the animalistic human race. Rick Delmonico |
