When is truth (1980's)by Rick Delmonico I could have used the time today, or something to believe. The strain was on me. But I've seen no sign my way, or comforts to relieve, till it's you that I see. Suspended on the vanising point, your eyes are all I see. I wonder at this renaissance that surely sets me free. I could have drawn the line today, to hold back or deceive the pain before me. It could be so fine you say, with blessings to receive. When is truth what I see? Suspended on a conscious whim, are wants all that I need? They echo like a thunderstorm, recalling darker deeds. Rick Delmonico |

vanising - vanishing? Good poem otherwise I like the change in tempo that almost reads like a chorus. See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. - Tommy |
